While minor disciplinary actions are handled in-house, the Imperial Armed Forces do not have military police or their own court system; rather, significant infractions are referred to the Imperial Court of Justice. Of course the IAF handles this limiting of its authority with tact and grace, and the ICJ for its part does not abuse this sliver of advantage over its larger sister department by, say, using minor irregularities as an excuse to stage sweeping investigations in the hopes of uncovering something embarrassing. Such interdepartmental spats hardly ever happen more than a dozen times a year.
